Dress up in your holiday best, whether fancy, comfy, or festive, gather on the couch with popcorn, cookies, and hot cocoa, and take in a family-friendly Christmas classic like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Muppet Christmas Carol, or your family’s favorite.

  • Write/Decorate Letters. Writing to grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other far-away friends is a thoughtful, sweet way to pass some time. Kids who can’t write yet can help parents compose a message, then decorate the paper with stickers, glitter, and more. Be sure to include pictures and any small trinkets that kids want to send. Include letters with gift packages, or send them on their own for extra holiday cheer.
